Cara Delevingne accentuated her famous eyebrows at the Met Gala.

The model joined Stella McCartney on the red carpet for the annual fashion event last night, which took place at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.

She shared her getting-ready process on Instagram with her followers and posted a snap of her hair in rollers, while a make-up artists worked on her eyes. The 21-year-old star is known for her big brows, which were given centre stage with the helping of a cosmetic pencil.

"#metballfirstlook #metball @makeupvincent @petergrayhair @stellamccartney @voguemagazine (sic)," she captioned the shot.

Vincent Oquendo was in charge of Cara and Stella's beauty looks and also helped make up Rihanna, Kate Bosworth and Reese Witherspoon, who joined in the fun.

“It was a girl party - Stella’s girls are fun girls,” he smiled to style.com. “I’ve done some red carpet things before where you’re there and it’s like a hostage situation, and this was not that at all… Stella has good juju and it’s infectious.”

The Met Gala theme this year was White Tie And Decorations, in honour of designer Charles James. To go with their amazing beauty looks, Cara wore a Stella McCartney black bondage top and white trousers, while Stella herself slipped into a monochrome dress.
