The Sports Illustrated cover model and wife of John Legend said that during a shoot for a global clothing company when she was ‘much younger’, she was told to leave because she was ‘too fat’.

The American model described the incident where the brand asked her to leave when she was preparing for a shoot during a video interview for a website.

“I actually was fired from a job,” she said.

“They booked me directly when I was much younger.

“I showed up on set and they asked me if they could take a photo, and they shoot that photo off to my agency who then calls me as I’m sitting in the make-up chair and they say: ‘You need to leave right now. They just said that you are fat and that you need to have your measurements taken.’

“And I hate you, I hate you so much. Honestly, you’re the worst,” she said of the store.
