Fitness guru Chontel Duncan shows off impossibly toned body just 25 days after giving birth
The baby bump has been replaced by toned abs as fitness model Chontel Duncan shows off her post-baby body just 25 days after giving birth.
The fitness fanatic posted a photo to Instagram, wearing a sports bra and leggings, with her toned tummy and "ridiculous jugs" in full display, just two and a half weeks after giving birth to her son Miah.
She said the newborn arrived "happy" and "healthy", weighing 7 lbs. 13 oz.
"Healthy happy baby boy, absolutely nothing edically wrong with bubba, he is extremely alert and very strong shocking the staff here with his arms and neck strength," Duncan announced on Instagram.
The healthy lifestyle guru chronicled her pregnancy journey for her 535k followers and made headlines when she posted an image of a pregnant friend, who was as far along as she was, to show how different women's bodies look during pregnancy.
Her friend appeared heavily pregnant while Duncan sported toned abs and a tiny bump at 21 weeks.
The 27-year-old kept her workouts right until she gave birth, hitting the gym for kickboxing workouts, and was quick to keep up her exercise regime soon after giving birth.
Duncan, who gave birth through c-section, revealed that she had full medical clearance to start walking again and that she would be returning to training at the gym in two weeks.
"I am such an OCD person with my body, I MUST get full approval for everything before I'll go do it," she wrote.
"I'd absolutely be shattered if I caused myself injury or any damage for not listening an just jumping the gun. If I feel a slight bit of change in straight on the phone to my midwife lol asking every question under the sun [sic]."
The former Miss Universe Australia finalist wrote she started her pregnancy at 72 kgs., or about 11 stone, and added around 32 lbs. (2.2 stone) to her muscular body while carrying Miah, which she says was largely water weight in the last few weeks.
And just 11 days after giving birth, she was back to her initial weight.
Most fans praised her for returning to her "passion", while others wondered if she'd taken her commitment to exercise too far.
"It's too much, too soon," wrote one on Instagram.
While another added: "This can't be real life. This sets an impossibly high standard but each to their own I guess."
