'Being pregnant isn't stopping me from what I want to do' - Model Irma Mali on keeping her six pack
Model Irma Mali has revealed that she isn't letting her pregnancy keep her from her love of exercise.
The 30-year-old, who is expecting her second child, recently shared a photo of her six pack on Instagram, showing off her enviable abs - at 23 weeks pregnant.
She has largely stuck to her healthy diet and exercise regime, but adjusted some routines because of her pregnancy.
"I haven't changed my lifestyle since I got pregnant," she told Independent.ie.
"I'm training every day if I can and I'd only take exercises out if they're too dangerous for the baby."
"I always listen to my body, and if I'm too tired I just do less."
"Sometimes I could even forget that I'm pregnant until the baby starts to kick and reminds me he is there," she laughed.
Mali moved to Ireland from Lithuania in the early 2000s and has 13-year-old daughter Nikoleta, although she says she can't remember much about her first pregnancy.
"It's very hard to compare to the last pregnancy as it was so long ago."
"I have been feeling fantastic," she said, now 28 weeks pregnant.
"I haven't had any morning sickness. Only some days I could be more tired and have to lay down for 30 minutes. I think it's a lot to do with having a healthy diet and keeping active, so it's easier for the body to accept the pregnancy."
"Our bodies are always changing no matter what you do. The baby is growing and I'm enjoying every moment of it."
"It's not stopping me from anything I was doing or want to do - all I have to do is get a bigger pair of trousers!"
Mali was previously in a relationship with The Script frontman Danny O'Donoghue for four years before splitting in 2013, and is now in a relationship with Barry Maguire, with whom she is expecting the new baby in January.
