Model Nadia Forde is jumping at the chance to show off her toned figure.
The I'm A Celebrity star (26) shed more than 25lbs since her appearance in the jungle in 2014, thanks to a multitude of daily workouts. The former panto star keeps her 79k Instagram followers up to date with her intense fitness regime, which features everything from boxing, ballet, pilates and weight-lifting.
And she was keen to show off her hard work and healthy lifestyle on the beach in Santa Monica, California over the weekend, where she was pictured confidently taking to the beach wearing an embellished hot pink bikini.
Nadia has documented her weight loss journey since featuring on the popular ITV show, where she shed nearly a stone during her 16 days in the jungle. And while she's enjoying the benefits of weight loss, she said she became a gym devotee for health reasons.
"I’m getting better. I’m not someone who loves the gym or who gets a huge kick out of working out. I do it because I have to. I have Italian heritage, I’m a curvy woman," she told the Irish Examiner.
"I work out as I want to feel my best in skimpy outfits and swimwear, it’s more for that than weight loss. I also do it for energy. After an hour in the gym I’m wide awake. As hard as it is, it’s worth it."
Nadia previously said she had tried her hand at spin classes, but turned to weight lifting in order to tone up.
"I do spin classes but it got to the point where my shape wasn't actually changing but I was staying a certain size - I just wasn't toning up that's why I added the weights," she told The Herald.
"I think you should be feminine as a woman but you should stay fit so that if I'm doing a 35-minute set in Miami that I can bounce up and down on stage.
"I want to feel confident in what I choose to wear. I like to have my legs out, or do a little bit of cleavage or be covered up - I just want to feel comfortable. I try to get to the gym four or five times a week."
