Hands up who struggles with holiday beauty packing and tends to bring wayyyyy more than they need? Yeah, me too. I've frequently streamlined my choice of holiday wardrobe in favour of an intensive hair mask or foot scrub.

But, as I've discovered more recently, it need not be that way, as the beauty aisles are awash with products that serve more than one purpose, and are designed to save you time, space and money.

Nuxe's Huile Prodigieuse is a much-loved multi-tasker that can be used almost anywhere that requires moisture - hair, nails, face, feet. And because it's a dry oil, it never feels greasy.

I mix it with a little bit of instant tan and apply it to my legs for a lovely glossy finish. A cult product for a reason, it also works wonders at taming flyaway hairs. Nuxe also do a version with bronze speckles in it which adds a tanned glow to the skin.

I hate wearing heavy lipstick on holidays as I find it's too drying in the sun, but at the same time, my pasty complexion requires some level of lip colour, so that's why Max Factor's new Intensifying Colour Lip Balms will prove a god send, as they load the lips with moisture whilst packing a decent colour punch.

Equally, Nars' The Multiple leaves a lovely creamy finish to the lips with a soft hint of colour. Available in heaps of shades and two different finishes, The Multiple can also be worn on the eyes, the cheeks and the decollete for a gorgeous natural, sheer, dewy summery finish. It's a product that's best applied using your fingers.

Stila's All Day Foundation and Concealer is another great space-saving multi-tasker as it contains everything you need for a flawless complexion, even housing a brush and a mirror. Also, its impressive long-wear credentials make it very holiday-friendly.

No7's Shimmer Palette is a must for anyone who loves adding dimension to their face with good quality pigments and shimmer.

A double-duty product, it can be worn on the cheeks for a gorgeous lightly bronzed, softly highlighted finish, or all four colours can be used as eye shadows.
