Spring skin in need of something approaching sunshine may be brought back to life with a swirl of He-Shi's Fusion Multi Bronze. The ultra light bronzer leaves a matt finish with a hint of pearl which blends easily. As bronzing goes there was no danger of leaving me looking like I had been Tangoed. Available from beauty salons nationwide, priced at €20.

Cult brand

The latest brand taking the beauty world by storm is Swedish brand Make-Up Store. They've set up shop in the beauty emporium at Arnotts with a cornucopia of divine goodies that cover everything from nail polish to eyeliner. One product quickly becoming worth it's weight in gold is their Cover All Mix concealer which contains a trio of concealers designed to hide everything from spots to dark circles. The high pigmented formula completely concealed my panda eyes fooling everyone around me that I was the sort of person who gets eight hours of sleep each and every night - success!

Available from Arnotts, priced at €28.50.

Beauty and the bead

Wei has been building quite a following since it's launch last month at Space NK Dundrum and one product that is currently basking in the beauty spotlight is the Pomegranate buffing beads. Packaged in easy to open sachets, the fine beads are designed to be mixed in with your cleanser meaning they can easily be incorporated into your regular routine at the level which suits - great if you have super sensitive skin. The results have been good so far and as well as leaving me baby bottom soft the beads have cut at least five minutes from my present exfoliating routine. Available from Space NK, Priced at €19

Double Trouble

Thankfully the winter seems to have waved us au revoir, the evenings are getting longer and the mornings a whole lot brighter. One thing I'm still waiting to see the back of however is my dreaded double lip.

Those of you who have suffered will now doubt be nodding knowingly at the mention of the extremely red and flaky patch that takes up residence under ones bottom lip at this time of year. As wishing it away in the mirror didn't do the trick I finally realised I would have to call in the help of something a little stronger. Enter my new french best friend - Nuxe Reve de Miel lip balm. This little jar of magic is full of honey and essential oils which meant after a day and a half of smothering it was goodbye to the third lip. Nuxe lipbalm can currently be found in my handbag, under my pillow and at Arnotts and selected pharmacies nationwide. Priced at €12.50
