Beauty: 5 of the best Holiday hair products chosen

I don't know about you, but I tend to pack way too many hair styling products and paraphernalia when I am going on holiday, when the wise thing to do is simply let my hair do its own thing, and just help it along ever so slightly. A good shampoo, a conditioning mask, a useful brush and one or two styling products is more than sufficient. Your holidays are not to be spent battling frizz under a hot hair dryer. Instead you want to wash, spritz and go. Right?
Well, if it's soft curls you're after, L'Oreal's Beach Waves is a gorgeous salt spray that won't make your hair crunchy in the way some products can. Spray it liberally to freshly washed and conditioned hair and tie your hair up in two buns (one on each side) as you attend to your make-up. Let it down after about ten minutes and you should be left with easy, breezy beach waves.
If, on holidays, humidity and the consequential frizz are your bugbear, Kerastase's Fluidissime is a product worth investing in, as it remoulds and tames the hair for up to 72 hours. Also, Remington's Frizz Therapy Ion Brush dramatically reduces fuzz when brushed repeatedly through dry hair. No heat required.
On holidays, I'd be lost without Kerastase's Bain Apres Soleil, as it acts like a gentle clarifying shampoo, removing chlorine and all sorts of other nasties without disturbing the colour. Also, I pack a mask rather than a conditioner because my hair tends to feel even drier on holidays. Redken's After Sun Mask leaves hair feeling so soft and replenished and much easier to style.
I've taken to applying this light, subtle cream highlighter everywhere. Because it's discreet, not frosty, glittery, or overly pearly, it's impossible to get wrong and works beautifully for daytime, even on bare skin.

Applying this light and lovely foot serum nightly for a week managed to make my feet look and feel super soft, and facilitated the flip flops finally getting an outing.
