Witty Repartee gave Chris Hayes the second leg of a treble at Down Royal when running out a convincing winner of the European Breeders Bund Coolmore Stud Ulster Oaks Fillies Handicap.
Andrew Oliver's 5/1 chance came into the race on the back of a Leopardstown win and travelled kindly for Hayes, tracking the tearaway leader Plus Ca Change.
Taking up the running on the home turn, Witty Repartee stretched clear, eventually coming home three and a half lengths clear of Princess Aloof, with Back On Top third.
Oliver said: "We intended to keep up front and set a good pace. We got a toe and then Chris took over at the bend. It was a masterful ride by Chris.
"We'll see where we go in handicaps, she won that off 70. It looks like she will stay further and she is progressing nicely.
"I thought a lot of her and everything is falling into place. I probably had her trip wrong."
Hayes earlier plotted a path from the outside stall to land the Value Cars Handicap aboard Cheers Buddy.
Hayes tacked across towards the rear of the field, and Lee Smyth's 7/1 chance picked up really well in the straight to beat Ask Dad by three and a quarter lengths.
Smyth said: "That's his fifth win for us - four came on the all-weather and he was beginning to look a one-trick pony.
"We are only 10 minutes away and came over last night and walked the track. We didn't think he would be too far away.
"Hopefully he can go back to Dundalk in the winter and win again."
Hayes' third win came courtesy of Mufraq in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden, the Kevin Prendergast-trained 6/4 favourite seeing out the trip well to repel Van Schack by three-quarters of a length.
