SPEAKING IN TONGUES: Madonna tries to seduce a younger generation, along with Christina Aguilera and Britney

Sometimes joyous exuberance in sport can manifest itself in strange ways just ask Dublin hurlers Liam Rushe and Ryan O'Dwyer.

After ending Dublin's 52-year wait for a Leinster crown the two Dublin stars could not contain their emotion and planted one on each other.

It is not the first time that this has happened on the sporting fields, in April 2010 Paul Scholes fired in a crucial goal against Manchester City and Gary Neville puckered up.

In fact, a precedent had already been set in Croke Park earlier this year when eccentric goalkeeper Shane Curran grabbed team mate Frankir Dolan for a smooch.

One also remembers the infamous snog between Madonna and Britney Spears during the MTV music awards in 2007.

Are there any high-profile ones we are leaving out? Let us know in the comments below . . .
