Just like on the rugby pitch, there is nowhere to hide when you make a mistake on live television, which is something that Gordon D'Arcy discovered last weekend.

The former Ireland and Leinster centre, whose rugby columns have provided a great insight into the game, was a panelist on ITV's Six Nations coverage last weekend when he got spectacularly tongue-tied.

D'Arcy was attempting to make a point about England's Owen Farrell when he completely lost his way, something that former team-mate Sean Cronin picked up on.

Cronin got a similar bit of slagging from Fergus McFadden for an unfortunate photo taken during Ireland's win over Italy. D'Arcy piled in on Cronin and the hooker was no doubt eager to get revenge when he spotted the video of his former team-mate's blunder.
