Video: Rory McIlroy hits a shot in the dark and out of a bunker filled with coleslaw

It's not something you're likely to see in the European or PGA Tours but Rory McIlroy took part in an experiment to take a shot from a bunker filled with coleslaw.

The 25-year-old has previously taken on a golf-playing robot in wacky experiments but this one went a step further.

In a new segment for ESPN's "Sport Science," John Brenkus put McIlroy's game to the test by having him hit a bunker-type shot out of 900 pounds of coleslaw.

He was also  asked to hit s shot through a 10ft doorway from 70 yards in the dark and make a 50ft putt on glass.

The challenges were interesting but the results were amazing.
