United have offered Nani to us - Monaco sporting director
Monaco sporting director Vadim Vasilyev said the Ligue 1 club have been offered the chance to sign Manchester United winger Nani.
The principality side have been busy in the transfer market since winning promotion to French football's top flight last season, signing the likes of Radamel Falcao, Eric Abidal, Joao Moutinho and Jeremy Toulalan.
Vasilyev told French sports newspaper L'Equipe that Nani "has been offered to us" after weeks of speculation linking the Portuguese with one of European football's richest clubs.
Vasilyev added: "He is a very good player, but at the moment there have been no talks yet. We have already changed our group quite a bit and we also want to offer opportunities to our young players."
Nani has a year left on his current contract and Vasilyev has not ruled out making a move before the window closes on September 2.
