Former Republic of Ireland manager Giovanni Trapattoni may take a new management position in either America or Japan, he told an Italian radio station.
Speaking on Radio Anch'io Sport, Mr Trapattoni said the two opportunities arose following his departure from the Irish hotseat this year.
“I have a lot of offers, from America and Japan, but I can’t make a mistake in my decision. I’ll have a few meetings soon where I will decide whether to go east or west," he said.
“I still have great enthusiasm, I want to carry on.”
Mr Trapattoni, 74, said he "parted amicably" with the FAI after four years together.
