Cascarino: Ireland just aren’t good enough hopefully Martin and Roy can give us something for the European Championships.

Tony Cascarino says that the current Irish team have huge room for improvement but warns we might not reach a World Cup for 20 years.

The former Irish international says that he hopes that Martin O’Neill and Roy Keane can revive Irish fortunes ahead of the European Championships but that we could be waiting a long time for Irish participation at a World Cup. “At the moment we (Ireland) are a bit short,” Cascarino told the Independent.ie. “We’re not good enough.”
