Barcelona are preparing a huge bid to try and tempt Liverpool into signing their star Luis Suarez.

With stars like Xavi, Victor Valdes and Carles Puyol all leaving, Barca are in transition and looking to recruit new talent into their ranks.

According to reports today, the Nou Camp club are prepared to spend €65m plus 25-year-old Chilean star Alexis Sanchez to try and bring the Uruguayan star to Spain.

Suarez's daughter was born in Barcelona, and his ongoing feud with the British media could see him push for a move.

Liverpool will resist bids for Suarez but his comments after Thursday night’s defeat of England will make it difficult for him to play in the Premier League next season.

“People in England laughed about my attitude over the last few years,” he said.

“I want to see what they think now. I have dreamed of this moment.”
