Celtic's Leigh Griffiths has paid a beautiful tribute to a young Celtic fan who tragically passed away yesterday.
Kieran McDade (13) suffered cardiac arrest while training with Dunbeth Football Club last week and sadly passed away yesterday.
Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths opened the scoring in Celtic's 3-1 win against Aberdeen today and celebrated by running the full length of the pitch to hold a jersey up with the words RIP Kieran and the number 13 on the back.
Griffiths also revealed that he met with Kieran's family before today's 4-1 win.
"Game day. We want to continue our good form in the league. Also looking forward to meeting the family of Kieran Mcdade before the game," said Griffiths on Twitter.
Kieran's sister Amy wrote on Facebook: "My family would like to thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for the overwhelming prayers and support you have given us.
"Our beautiful boy is now with the angels and will forever live on in our hearts.
"Would also like to let everyone know that Kieran has remained the most sensitive and generous boy that he is and donated some of his organs which has saved two peoples lives today. What a brave soldier, he will be truly missed."
Over £10k has been raised to assist the family and you can donate here.
