Video: Player celebrates goal by applauding himself in the stands

Published 08/05/2014 | 16:01

Dispelling the notion that self-praise is no praise, Belarusian striker Dzmitry Kowb ran into the stand after scoring to applaud his own efforts.

In a recent match in the Lithuanian league, Kowb has added to growing list of legendary celebrations by running into the stands and applauding himself, rather immodestly.

His  last-minute goal for his Lithuanian club Trakai FK meant a great deal to him, as most importantly it allowed him to show-off the celebration.

The 27-year-old’s late bullet header drew the visitors level against A Lyga leaders Zalgiris FC.
