WIGAN boss Roberto Martinez today insisted that star midfielder James McCarthy is not for sale.

Everton manager David Moyes , along with Arsenal chief Arsene Wenger, have been linked with the €12million rated Republic of Ireland ace.

The 22-year-old Glasgow-born midfielder has been on Wenger's radar for months, while Moyes is keen to bolster his central options.

Chelsea are eyeing up Marouane Fellaini as a possible replacement for Frank Lampard and McCarthy is top of Moyes’ list if that happens.
