Video: Irish defender sparks 18-man brawl during Aston Villa v West Ham under-21 game

There were ugly scenes during an under-21 encounter between Aston Villa and West Ham last night and an Irishman was at the heart of it.
Kevin Toner, who has represented Ireland at under-19 level, launched himself into a pair of rash challenge in succession sparking fury among the West Ham players close by, during the Villains 3-2 win at Villa Park.
The 19-year-old received a red card after the fracas involving 18 players had dissipated.
Having previously been out on loan at Kidderminster Harriers, The Ashbourne, co Meath native has returned to Villa Park and is the captain of the under-21 outfit.
