Turkey on Hiddink menu

The Russia coach Guus Hiddink has agreed a two-year contract to coach the Turkish national team.

The Dutchman, whose contract with Russia ends in June, will coach Turkey until 2012 with an option to stay on.

Hiddink coached Chelsea to the FA Cup last season and has previously managed the Netherlands, Australia and South Korea international teams.

He replaces previous incumbent Fatih Terim, who stepped down as manager last October after failing to reach the World Cup.
