Ireland manager Giovanni Trapattoni has left James McCarthy, Jonathan Walters and Marc Wilson out of his squad for the upcoming Euro 2012 qualifiers against Slovakia and Russia.

The three are the most high-profile absentees from Trapattoni's 25-man squad for the crucial games.







But Damien Delaney and Ciaran Clark have also been left at home.



Meanwhile, Paul McShane and Seamus Coleman are missing through injury, while Aiden McGeady has been included despite doubts over his fitness.
