Samuel Eto’o could be set for a quick return to London with Harry Redknapp weighing up a move for the Cameroon international.

The Daily Mirror believes that Redknapp is hoping to entice Eto’o to Loftus Road with a generous contract in an effort to keep the R’s in the top-flight.

Eto’o spent last year at Chelsea but manager Jose Mourinho deemed the front man surplus to requirements, while Redknapp has already seen a £5m bid for Norwich City’s Leroy Fer rejected (The Daily Mail).

After the arrivals of Toni Kroos and James Rodriguez at the Bernabeu, Real Madrid may be willing to off-load some of their abundance of riches in midfield.

Sami Khedira continues to be linked with Arsenal and Chelsea, while Manchester City are reportedly interested in 22 year-old Isco, while defender Raphael Varane is being courted by Chelsea (The Independent).

He may have played only 12 league games last year, but Manchester City's midfielder James Milner seems to have pricked the interest of both Arsenal and Liverpool according to the Guardian.

The Daily Mirror informs its readers that Spurs are willing to offer Lewis Holtby and Michael Dawson as part-exchange for Dutch centre-half Ron Vlaar.

Elsewhere Turkish club Galatasaray have lodged a £10m bid for Cardiff City midfielder Gary Medel (The Express), Newcastle have told Jonas Gutierrez, Hatem Ben Arfa and Gabriel Obertan they can leave (The Daily Mail) and Sunderland boss Gus Poyet is ready to launch a bid to lure Celtic centre-back Virgil van Dijk to the Stadium of Light (The Daily Record).
