Mario Balotelli has dropped a major hint that he is returning to the Premier League, after the Italian striker was photographed in front of the Gunners logo.

According to The Star, AC Milan have made it clear they're happy to sell the Italian, and this looks like a not-so-subtle indication of where Balotelli's heart lies.

Arsenal have been busy so far in the transfer market, as well as signing Alexis Sanchez they yesterday completed the signing of Newcastle full back Mathieu Debuchy for £11m.

With this deal completed, The Sun has also suggested that Carl Jenkinson could be on his way out of the Emirates, with a proposed £5m transfer to West Ham on the cards.

One player who won’t be going to Arsenal appears to be Real Madrid midfielder, Sami Khedira. And the club may now turn their attention to Southampton’s Morgan Schneiderlin.

Southampton seem unable to replace their ever decreasing squad, with Burnley rejecting their approaches for star striker Danny Ings (The Daily Mirror).

Meanwhile Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers looks set to go on a £100m spending spree according to The Sun. The Express have reported that Liverpool have enquired about the availability of PSV Eindhoven's £8m-rated teenage winger Zakaria Bakkal, while Micah Richards (The Daily Mail) is also on the radar.

Crystal Palace are also set to strengthen their squad with Tony Pulis eager to pull off deals for Cardiff’s Fraizer Campbell and Tottenham's Gylfi Sigurdsson (The Express) with agreements in place over the transfers fees.

Cardiff City may see another player leaving, as Harry Redknapp looks set to make a move for Centre back Steven Caulker. Caulker is an ex-player of Redknapp and speaking with Sky Sorts News this morning, the QPR boss has said that the prospect of Caulker playing alongside new signing Rio Ferdinand would be a “brilliant experience” for him.

Fellow Londoners Chelsea are also looking to strengthen their defence with José Mourinho reportedly interested in teaming up once again with Real Madrid centre back Raphael Varane (The Daily Mail)

Chelsea may also see a player leave to Spain, with teenage midfielder Jeremie Boga is a target for Rayo Vallecano (Daily Star).

The Star has also reported that Sunderland are closing in on a deal for Atletico Madrid midfielder Cristian Rodriguez.

And with rumours rife that Yaya Touré may be leaving Man City, The Daily Mail has written that Everton’s Ross Barkley would be top of their list as a replacement.
