Top 40 summer transfers that could still go through

Name: Pedro Age: 26 Club: Barcelona Possible fee: £25 million Interested clubs: Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United Emerged at Barcelona under Pep Guardiola and has grown into a regular in the national team. Lots of teams interested but it will be tough for Pedro to leave his boyhood club.
Name: Bernard Age: 21 Club: Shakhtar Donetsk Possible fee: £30 million Interested clubs: Arsenal, Tottenham Brazilian Bernard was part of the Atletico Mineiro side that won the Copa Libertadores in 2012, and was strongly linked with a move to Arsenal before joining Shakhtar in 2013.
Name: Dani Alves Age: 31 Club: Barcelona Possible fee: £15 million Interested clubs: Paris Saint-Germain PSG are admirers of the Brazilian, who was a subject of a bid from them last summer. Now 31 and with just a year on his contract, Barca may look to cash in
Name: Danny Welbeck Age: 23 Club: Manchester United Possible fee: £15m Interested clubs: Arsenal, Spurs, Everton, Hull, Sunderland Under Alex Ferguson, Welbeck became an increasingly key contributor but following disappointing spells under David Moyes and now Louis van Gaal, the England striker is availble for either a season-long loan or to buy for around £15m
Name: Javi Martinez Age: 25 Club: Bayern Munich Possible fee: £30 million Interested clubs: Arsenal, Barcelona Martinez has failed to command a regular starting spot under Pep Guardiola, leading many of Europe's top clubs to enquire about his availability this summer.
Name: Paul Pogba Age: 21 Club: Juventus Possible fee: £50 million Interested clubs: Arsenal, Barcelona, Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid Pogba has been a revelation since moving to Serie A in 2012, and is one of the young players to have shone under Didier Deschamps leadership in Brazil. Former club Manchester United among those trying to lure the central midfielder away from Turin.
Name: Lukas Podolski Age: 29 Club: Arsenal Possible fee: £11m Interested clubs: Juventus, Galatasaray, Wolfsburg Podolski has two years left on his current deal but has fallen down the pecking order and has been linked with move to Serie A this summer.
Name: Falcao Age: 28 Club: Monaco Possible fee: £45 million Interested clubs: Chelsea, Manchester City, Real Madrid A knee injury ruled him out of Brazil, but despite his absence, there will be clubs queueing for the Colombian's signature.
Name: Marco Reus Age: 24 Club: Borussia Dortmund Possible fee: £30 million Interested clubs: Barcelona, Manchester United, Liverpool The German was cruelly ruled out of the World Cup with an ankle injury, but that won’t stop clubs testing his and Dortmund’s resolve in keeping their prize asset.
Name: Julian Draxler Age: 20 Club: Schalke Possible fee: £30 million Interested clubs: Arsenal, Bayern Munich Draxler was strongly linked with Arsenal during the January transfer window, only for the move to fall through. The Gunners may renew their interest but Bayern are also lurking.
Name: Aymeric Laporte Age: 19 Club: Athletic Bilbao Possible fee: £30 million Interested clubs: Barcelona, Bayern Munich A stand-out performer in a Bilbao side who will be plying their trade in the Champions League next season. Laporte has a reported release clause of around £30 million, with Barcelona in need of a centre back.
Name: Koke Age: 22 Club: Atletico Madrid Possible fee: £35 million Interested clubs: Barcelona, Chelsea One of the standout performers in a brilliant league-winning Atletico team, Koke may well be Cesc Fabregas's replacement at the Nou Camp.
Name: Mehdi Benatia Age: 27 Club: Roma Possible fee: £15 million Interested clubs: Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea The centre back has been immense at the heart of the Roma defence. Only joined from Udinese last summer, but the big Premier League sides are already circling.
Name: Sergio Aguero Age: 25 Club: Manchester City Possible fee: £40 million Interested clubs: Real Madrid Real Madrid were among those vying for Aguero when he was at Atletico. If Benzema departs the Bernabeau then the City striker will be top of Real’s list of replacements.
Name: Jackson Martinez Age: 27 Club: Porto Possible fee: £20 million Interested clubs: Arsenal, Chelsea Top scorer in the Portuguese league with 20 goals this season, Martinez has been part of a hugely impressive Colombian attacking line in Brazil.
Name: Samuel Eto'o Age: 33 Club: N/A Possible fee: Free Interested clubs: Arsenal, Everton, West Ham Cameroon interested is a free agent having been released by Chelsea but it has been his wage demands which have put potential suitors off his services.
Name: Jordan Rhodes Age: 24 Club: Hull City Possible fee: £15m Interested clubs: Hull Blackburn's Indian owners, the Venky's, remain insistent striker is not for sale but Steve Bruce is considering a fourth attempt to sign the Championship player.
Name: Fernando Torres Age: 30 Club: Chelsea Possible fee: A likely loan or £16m Interested clubs: AC Milan, Roma, Atletico Madrid With only 45 goals to his name since a £50m move from Liverpool it seems like only a matter of time before the striker moves on, but a season-long loan deal looks to be more likely than a permament move.
Name: Arturo Vidal Age: 26 Club: Juventus Possible fee: £60 million Interested clubs: Barcelona, Manchester United, Real Madrid The Chilean had a strong World Cup after a good season with Juventus. Vidal is another player linked with being a solution to Manchester United’s under-performing midfield.
Name: Lars Bender Age: 25 Club: Bayer Leverkusen Possible fee: £25 million Interested clubs: Arsenal Arsenal remain in the market for a defensive midfielder and Bender will be near the top of their list. A versatile player, who can also fill in at right back when called upon.
Name: Luis Muriel Age: 23 Club: Udinese Possible fee: £20 million Interested clubs: Liverpool Muriel was voted Serie A Young Player of the Year in 2012, but failed to make the cut for the Colombia squad this summer. Technically gifted and full of pace, Liverpool are strongly linked with a move.
Name: William Carvalho Age: 22 Club: Sporting Lisbon Possible fee: £30 million Interested clubs: Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United Carvalho made his debut for Portugal in the country’s play-off triumph over Sweden. The defensive midfielder has been continuously linked with Manchester United, but Chelsea may have stolen a march on their rivals.
Name: Xherdan Shaqiri Age: 22 Club: Bayern Munich Possible fee: £15 Interested clubs: Liverpool Switzerland's hat-trick hero in Brazil has failed to secure a regular starting spot under Pep Guardiola at Bayern Munich. Liverpool may hope to capitalise on his good form after reportedly showing an interest in Shaqiri before the tournament.
Name: Jordy Clasie (left) Age: 22 Club: Feyenoord Possible fee: £15 million Interested clubs: AC Milan, Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham The latest product of the Feyenoord academy, Dutchman Clasie has been praised for his technique and passing ability. Now 22, he will see it as time to leave the Eredivisie.
Name: Seamus Coleman Age: 25 Club: Everton Possible fee: £20 million Interested clubs: Arsenal, Manchester United Signed for a mere £60,000 in 2009, Coleman has gone on to become one of the best right backs in the Premier League and made the PFA Team of the Year this season.
Name: Sami Khedira Age: 27 Club: Real Madrid Possible fee: £35 million Interested clubs: Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United The defensive midfielder missed most of the domestic season through injury, but recovered in time for the World Cup. Hugely admired by Jose Mourinho, the German may well reunite with his former boss at Stamford Bridge.
Name: Karim Benzema Age: 26 Club: Real Madrid Possible fee: £30 million Interested clubs: Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain In brilliant form for France this summer, his performances for Les Blues will have attracted plenty of attention. Arsenal are likely to be back again after being heavily linked with Benzema last summer.
Name: Mattia Destro Age: 23 Club: Roma Possible fee: £20m Interested clubs: Chelsea, AC Milan Roma's top goal scorer last season is edging closer to exit and a swap involving Fernando Torres at Chelsea could be on the cards.
Name: Yevhen Konoplyanka Age: 24 Club: Dnipro Possible fee: £20 million Interested clubs: Liverpool, Manchester United The Ukrainian was close to completing a deadline day move to Liverpool in January, before it collapsed at the 11th hour. Manchester United look to have joined the hunt for his signature.
Name: Alexandre Lacazette Age: 22 Club: Lyon Possible fee: £15 million Interested clubs: Arsenal, Liverpool, Newcastle One of a number of young players who have starred at Lyon this season, Lacazette’s French nationality has naturally lead to Arsenal and Newcastle being touted as a possible destination.
Name: Javier Hernandez Age: 25 Club: Manchester United Possible fee: £20 million Interested clubs: Atletico Madrid, Tottenham The Mexican striker managed only nine goals this season but showed some of his best form at the World Cup. Diego Costa’s departure at to Chelsea could see Hernandez arrive as a replacement.
Name: Stephan El Shaarawy Age: 21 Club: AC Milan Possible fee: £20 million Interested clubs: Liverpool, Tottenham Young forward spent most of the season out injured and Milan could be prepared to cash in on the Italy international to fund their own summer transfer plans.
Name: Christian Eriksen Age: 26 Club: Tottenham Possible fee: £20 million Interested clubs: Liverpool One of the raft of Spurs’ summer signings who failed to make an impact last season. A move seems unlikely but the Dane will want to be playing Champions League football.
Name: Thomas Muller Age: 24 Club: Bayern Munich Possible fee: £25 million Interested clubs: Barcelona, Manchester United The World Cup's two-time Golden Boot winner has continued his incredible scoring form from midfield this summer. But Muller has not been a regular under Pep Guardiola at Bayern and has plenty of potential suitors should he wish to leave.
Name: Mats Hummels Age: 25 Club: Borussia Dortmund Possible fee: £25 million Interested clubs: Barcelona, Manchester United A key figure in Dortmund’s run to the 2013 Champions League final and stalwart for the German side in Brazil, United are understandably interested given the departures of Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic.
Name: Kevin Strootman Age: 24 Club: Roma Possible fee: £25 million Interested clubs: Manchester United A knee injury has ruled him out of the World Cup, just as he was starting to impress for Roma. Van Gaal’s Dutch connection makes him an obvious target.
Name: Ezequiel Lavezzi Age: 29 Club: Paris Saint-Germain Possible fee: £15 million Interested clubs: Arsenal, Chelsea Lavezzi has yet to score at the World Cup with Argentina, but produced some impressive performances in the Champions League with PSG. Arsenal and Chelsea will see the experienced Argentine as a useful addition.
Name: Javier Pastore Age: 24 Club: Paris Saint-Germain Possible fee: £20 million Interested clubs: Liverpool, Manchester United The attacking midfielder has never really flourished since his big money move to the French capital and was left out of the Argentine World Cup squad. Not a regular under Laurent Blanc, England could be his next stop.
Name: Iker Casillas Age: 32 Club: Real Madrid Possible fee: £15 million Interested clubs: Arsenal, Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain The Spain captain endured a torrid World Cup after being a bit-part player in Real Madrid’s trophy winning season. He may well be looking for pastures new after making only one appearance in La Liga last year.
Name: Federico Fazio Age: 27 Club: Sevilla Possible fee: £8m Interested clubs: Spurs Defender has rejected a new deal at the club this summer and is said to be in favour of a move to the north London club.
