Real Madrid could make a dramatic move for their former player Alvaro Negredo if they meet Manchester City's asking price.

Madrid have been linked with Radamel Falcao with the player suggesting that it would be a dream come true, but they have a Plan B in place according to The Sunday Mirror and Negredo would cost far less than the Colombian star.

Staying in la Liga, former Barcelona goalkeeper Victor Valdes could be on his way to the premier League.

The same paper says that Brendan Rodgers wants to bolster his goalkeeping options and wages would be the only potential stumbling block.

Danny Welbeck continues to be linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur now that it appears the England striker has no future under new manager Louis van Gaal.

The Daily Star suggests that 11 players will either leave or arrive at Old Trafford before 11pm tomorrow, with one such player, defender Michael Keane, a possible loan target for Norwich City.

Arsenal could be about to sign Torino striker Alessio Cerci, 27, after he was left out of the Italian side's squad to face Inter Milan today (Daily Star), while Manchester City are ready to snap up Swedish starlet Sead Haksabanovic ahead of rivals Liverpool and Chelsea (The Sun).
