Nine months on from his appointment, Jürgen Klopp is beginning to make an impression on Liverpool’s transfer dealings.

The German held back from making wholesale changes in January, with Marko Grujic’s move from Red Star Belgrade the only permanent transfer to be arranged.

Klopp’s now making up for lost time and has since overseen the completion of three further signings.

Joel Matip, whose free transfer from Schalke 04 was arranged back in February, is now officially a Liverpool player.

Loris Karius, the highly-rated young goalkeeper, has been brought in from Mainz to challenge for Simon Mignolet’s place in the starting line-up.

Then there’s Sadio Mane, Liverpool’s tormentor in their 3-2 defeat against Southampton last March, whose £30million transfer fee made him the club’s third most-expensive signing of all time.

Will Klopp’s new broom now stop its sweeping? It seems unlikely. Central midfielder and left-back remain priority positions, so who could be in line for a move to Anfield?

Mahmoud Dahoud

Highly-rated young midfielder. Having lost Granit Xhaka, Borussia Monchengladbach are keen to hold onto him. Shares the same agent as compatriot and likely midfield partner Emre Can. Likelihood: 6/10

Piotr Zielinski

Negotiations with the Pozzo family are reportedly proving difficult following Jerome Sinclair's protracted transfer to Watford. Napoli are also interested. Likelihood: 6/10

Ben Chilwell

Liverpool's interest in the Leicester City youngster has been well-publicised for some time. Arsenal and Tottenham have also been linked. Likelihood: 7/10

Mario Gotze

He would have been a true marquee signing for Klopp but, since commiting himself to an uncertain future at Bayern Munich for at least another year in May, his capture has looked unlikely. Likelihood: 3/10

Jonas Hector

Although the Koln left-back would represent a significant upgrade, any chance of snaring him appears remote. Likelihood: 4/10

Marko Pjaca

The Croatian winger caught many an eye with his performances at this summer's European Championships. Milan, Internazionale, Juventus and Tottenham are also sniffing around. Likelihood: 5/10

Gonzalo Higuain

Anfield’s forward line is well stocked but, should Christian Benteke be sold off as expected, could a move for the Argentina international be on the cards? Klopp was spotted at the Copa America in June, possibly watching Serie A’s leading 2015/16 goalscorer. Likelihood: 3/10

Mateo Kovacic

Liverpool took a look at the attacking midfielder last summer before he completed a move to Real Madrid. Kovacic has found opportunities to be limited in Spain but talk of any new interest appears to be hot air. Lieklihood: 2/10

Andrew Robertson

Another left-back, a talented one too who impressed in his debut season for Hull City, despite relegation from the Premier League. A key figure in their return to the top flight - but does he have the quality to make the step up? Likelihood: 2/10
