Napoli are willing to let Gonzalo Higuain go to Arsenal for a huge price

The fine Italian city of Naples is bracing itself this morning as Arsenal gear up to methodically steal all of its football club's best players.
First and most familiarly is the continuing story of Gonzalo Higuain. Long linked with a move to someone, anyone, in England, the Argentine striker could finally be on his way. And Arsenal may well be his destination.
Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis has said he would "like to sell" Higuain, according to the Express.
There's a fee-based sticking point, but the world of transfer fees and the notion of sanity look profoundly altered after Raheem Sterling joined Man City for £49m yesterday...
Napoli are insisting that Higuain's buy-out clause of £64.7million is met. De Laurentiis is bang up for it, provided he gets his enormous pot of gold.
"Sell Higuain for €90 million (£64.7m)? I’d like to sell him," he said. "That way I can buy eight players for the club."
Eight! Go easy there, fella. We all remember what happened to Spurs after they sold Gareth Bale.
Stop laughing at the back. And in the front, and middle.
In other Napoli-centric news, Arsenal are also reportedly close to a deal for the Spanish winger who goes by the name Jose Callejon.
Callejon has lost interest in the life of rough and ready charm peppered with regular delicious arancini that's on offer to him in Naples, and also misses Rafael Benítez, who has flounced off to Real Madrid.
The Spanish winger, who's scored 32 goals in the last two seasons, would cost Arsenal around £17.9m, says the Metro. Liverpool and Sevilla are also interested. That's a very red-based future for the boy Callejon, after two years of sky blue. A change is as good as a rest.
Surely not more Napoli? Surely yes, actually. French website Le10 Sport (Le Dix sport in French, but presumably not affiliated to Arsenal's 90s right-back of the same name...) say that a deal is close for defender Faouzi Ghoulam of transfer rumours passim.
Atletico Madrid, PSG and Chelsea are all keeping an eye on the left-back, but Arsenal are favourites to sign him. Hooray for everything.
For balance, it's probably best to relay something about a player leaving Arsenal, and ideally not to Napoli.
In that spirit: Serge Gnabry! The winger is off to West Brom, says ESPN.
But only on loan. Please don't panic. Thanks.
