Manchester United in pole position to land Harry Kane

Manchester United are in the driving seat to sign Harry Kane - that is if they can persuade Tottenham to part with their star striker.
United were desperate to sign the England foward in the summer, but their £40m bid didn't quite hit the spot for Spurs chairman Daniel Levy.
While Tottenham will be reluctant to allow the Englishman to set sail and depart north London, Louis van Gaal is expected to have a £200m transfer kitty to play with so money would not be an option.
Already reports of £50m are being lined up to get the bidding war underway.
The Express, however, say that despite Kane attracting interest from across Europe, it is United who are in pole position to sign him.
Despite a slow start to the current campaign, Kane has hit the goal trail again with a return of eight in 15 this season.
United have opened talks to sign teenager Matthew Olosunde, or so says the Mail.
The 17-year-old USA youth international has been training on and off at United since the summer although he is still officially on the books of MLS side New York Red Bulls.
United are prepared to offer the youngster a contract which will be subject to securing a UK work permit.
Olosunde is predominately a centre-back, but can also operate at right-back.
