Man United to battle it out with PSG for signature of Leicester City player – reports
According to reports in French media, Manchester United will be vying with Paris Saint Germain for the signature of Leicester City's attacking midfielder Riyad Mahrez.
The Foxes have made a stunning start to the Premier League campaign and while Jamie Vardy has captured most of the headlines with his goal scoring exploits, the Algerian international has also been in sensational form, claiming seven league goals in 10 games and a key part of the attacking startategy under Claudio Ranieri.
With United struggling to create opportunities in front of goals – Saturday's 0-0 draw with Crystal palace was their third successive stalemate – Louis van Gaal may be about to turn to Mahrez to solve his attacking woes.
France Football reports that the Red Devils will face stiff competition from PSG for the player who cost Leicester just €400,000 last year.
The French media outlet suggests that Mahrez is "one of the best passers" in the league and would be interested in a move to Old Trafford.
