Manchester United full back Rafael is poised to complete his €3m move to French side Lyon.
The 25-year-old Brazilian, who has not started a Premier League game since last October, has fallen down the pecking order under manager Louis Van Gaal, with the signing of Italian Matteo Darmian signalling his services were no longer required.
The Ligue 1 club's president, Jean-Michel Aulas, has confirmed the defender close to sealing a transfer on Twitter this morning.
"Raphael [sic] has arrived from Manchester U. We're waiting for an agreement with MU on the transfer. He's in a very Brazilian good mood," he posted on his account, which was retweeted by the club's official account.
Rafael made his first team debut in 2008 and played 109 times for the Red Devils, winning the Premier League on three occasions.
The Times reports that a €3m fee has been agreed between the two clubs.
