Brendan Rodgers's summer spending spree is showing no signs of letting up with the Liverpool boss adding Monaco defender Aymen Abdennour to his list of targets.
The Mirror claims Liverpool have entered the race for Tunisian defender Abdennour but that the £13.5 million-rated, 25-year-old centre-half is not short of admirers.
West Ham and Newcastle are also apparently among a number of European clubs interested in Abdennour who shone for Champions League quarter-finalists Monaco last season.
And the list now includes Liverpool. His agent, Abdelkader Jilani, is quoted as saying: "They are one of the interested parties, like Milan, Inter, Juventus and Liverpool."
Gonzalo Higuain is ready to snub rival offers to join Liverpool this summer, according to The Metro.
The Argentina striker is reportedly eyeing up a move away from Napoli and Manchester United and Arsenal have shown interest.
However, it seems Higuain has decided he wants to move to Anfield. The 27-year-old has been valued at £72 million by Napoli but The Metro suggests that Liverpool could stand a chance with a bid of about £42million.
And finally, the Reds are on the verge of completing moves for three players!
The Daily Star reports that Southampton right-back Nathaniel Clyne, Barcelona winger Bobby Adekanye and FC Copenhagen left-back Ludwig Augustinsson could all move to Anfield in the coming days.
Clyne was on Merseyside yesterday to undergo a medical ahead of his £12.5 million switch from St Mary's.
Barcelona star Adekanye is expected to undergo a medical on Wednesday before arriving on a free transfer.
And the Reds have reportedly opened talks with Copenhagen about a move for 21-year-old Augustinsson as Rodgers looks to provide back-up for Alberto Moreno.
The Sweden Under-21 international only moved to Copenhagen in January but Liverpool hope to conclude a deal worth in the region of £2 million.
