Juventus to make £10m bid for Manchester United striker Robin van Persie

Manchester United striker Robin van Persie could be winging his way to Champions League finalists Juventus for £10m this summer.
Juve are bracing themselves for the loss of Carlos Tevez and want to replace the Argentine with United's out-of-sorts striker.
Tevez is a target of Paris St-Germain but the former United forward is also considering a move back to his homeland and seeing out his career with Boca Juniors.
That could see the Serie A giants launch a move for Van Persie who has admitted to a frustrating season at Old Trafford.
The Dutchman has been sidelined with injuries and a loss of form and has also suggested that his future may lie elsewhere.
Lazio sporting director Igli Tare has ruled out a move for Robin van Persie, claiming the Manchester United forward is "unfortunately, outside our parameters".
Van Persie, who is tied to United for another season, was spotted in Rome this week, leading to speculation that the 31-year-old could join Lazio.
"On Van Persie, all I can say is that I respect him as a striker but unfortunately, he is outside our parameters," Tare told Lazio Style Radio. "There has never been a meeting, this is gossip, not transfer news.
"We don't want to create illusions, this is not true."
United, meanwhile, could replace Van Persie by making a move for Paris St-Germain striker Edinson Cavani.
Louis van Gaal is keen to partner captain Wayne Rooney with the Uruguayan striker and can use the money from selling Van Persie as part of the deal.
Chelsea have also been linked with a move for Cavani, but have now turned their attentions towards United reject Radamel Falcao and Gonzalo Higuain.
Even so, competition for Cavani's signature is likely to be fierce.
The latest club to be linked with a move for the striker are - once again - Juventus, with Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport suggesting that the club have made him their first-choice target as they search for new attacking options this summer.
Either way, even Van Persie admits that United are in desperate need of a more prolific striker. “It’s not good that a top club like Manchester United does not have a scorer with 20 or more goals behind his name each season," he said last week. "That is why we only finished fourth.”
Meanwhile, Roma are interested in signing United winger Nani.
The 28-year-old is available for £10m but his £100,000 a week wages are a stumbling block.
Inter Milan are also said to be interested but are also keen on potentially signing Chelsea's Juan Cuadrado on loan.
