Joe Hart passes his West Ham medical...which is bad news for Ireland No.1 Darren Randolph
Joe Hart has passed a medical ahead of his season-long loan move to West Ham, which appears to end Darren Randolph's hopes of regain the No.1 jersey for the Hammers.
Hart posted an image of himself travelling to London on Monday morning, with news emerging later in the day that the England's No.1 has agreed a deal to join West Ham.
His high-profile arrival may force Ireland No.1 Darren Randolph to consider his future at the club, after he lost his place in Slaven Bilic's side at the back end of last season.
Sheffield Wednesday keeper Keiren Westwood has pushing hard to displace Randolph from his position as Ireland's keeper, with Randolph hanging on to his place for the World Cup qualifier against Serbia last June despite his fall from grace at West Ham.
If Randolph is back on the West Ham bench at the start of the new season, Westwood could emerge as a strong contender to start in Ireland's final four World Cup qualifiers.
