Republic of Ireland internationals Anthony Pilkington and Conor Sammon have made summer transfer moves with Stephen Ward on the verge of making a return to the Premier League.
Cardiff City has confirmed the capture of Anthony Pilkington this afternoon from Norwich.
The 26-year-old winger trained with his new team mates this morning and his eligibility ahead of Saturday' game with Huddersfield to be confirmed.
Brighton looked set to sign Stephen Ward from Wolves after the full-back enjoyed a fine season at the Amex last season but that move looks to have been hijacked by Premier League newcomers Burnley.
The Dubliner was due to undergo a medical at Brighton today but failed to show according to reports.
Burnley are also thought to have agreed a fee with Wolves and Ward is now expected to join them instead.
Meanwhile, Conor Sammon has joined Ipswich from Derby County on a season-long loan deal.
