DUBLINER Eoin Doyle could move from Cardiff to Preston tomorrow just nine months after joining the Welsh club.
Doyle was recruited by Cardiff at the close of the January transfer window after a prolific run with Chesterfield in League One.
The 27-year-old has scored five times in 18 appearances for the Bluebirds but has not been involved in the league this year. That alerted Championship rivals Preston who are prepared to table a £850k bid for his services ahead of the close of the transfer deadline.
Meanwhile, St Patrick's Athletic could be presented with another offer for a talented young player after losing Chris Forrester to Peterborough United over the weekend.
Swansea and League Two Portsmouth are eyeing up a late move for Irish U21 international Sean Hoare.
The centre half attracted interest from Hull in January and MK Dons are long term admirers. Injury issues have caused him problems this summer but the Saints could still be presented with a dilemma if interest develops into a firm offer.
