Chelsea considering sensational swap deal involving Diego Costa and Jackson Martínez - reports
Diego Costa, Chelsea's troubled striker, could end up making a return to Atlético Madrid after Jackson Martínez's agent suggested the Colombian is ready to leave the Vicente Calderón Stadium leading to talk of a swap deal for the pair.
Following Chelesa's disappointing start to the season in which striker Costa has struggled with either form or discipline, Martínez would be an ideal replacement for the Brazil-born Spain international.
Speaking about a potential move from the Calderón, Martínez's agent said: "I cannot say it's a lie.
"This is football and no-one knows what will happen in the future. What I want to say is that Jackson is not one of those who goes to a place if it is not through the front door."
Meanwhile, Guus Hiddink, the interim manager at Stamford Bridge, has been urged to make a swoop for Romelu Lukaku, the Everton striker that Jose Mourinho sold in 2014.
A report in the Daily Star claims Didier Drogba, the former Chelsea striker who is due to return to Stamford Bridge in a coaching capacity, wants to see Lukaku back at the club following his impressive performances for the Mersysiders.
