Arsene Wenger eyes former Man United star Javier Hernandez
Arsenal are plotting what we are told is the 'sensational transfer' of former Manchester United star Javier Hernandez.
Apparently, the Gunners have made the Mexico international their top priority in January but they will do well to persuade Bayer Leverkusen to sell him. Hernandez, aka Chicharito, has been in sensational form this season – bagging 18 goals for the German side.
According to Don Balon, there is also interest in Hernandez from Serie A but he is not thought to be keen on a switch to Italy.
Meanwhile, Arsenal have been mentioned alongside Chelsea as surprise contenders to sign Real Madrid star James Rodriguez.
Fichajes.net reports that Rodriguez is unhappy with life under manager Rafa Benitez, and could be open to leaving the club.
And finally, Arsenal are plotting a January move for Inter Milan and Croatia midfielder Marcelo Brozovic.
Italian publication Calciomercato reports that Wenger is keen to land the midfielder and is lining up a £12 million bid for his services.
