The 22 year-old has supposedly asked the club to be let go in order to continue his development elsewhere.

Arsenal are rumoured to be looking into the availability of Juventus defender Daniele Rugani. According to Italian website Gianluca Di Marzio, the 21 year-old is also being chased by Everton and Napoli, with the former understood to have bid £25.5 million to secure the youngster's services.

Gunner's striker Olivier Giroud has not ruled out a move to Napoli following days of speculation over his suggested role in an Arsenal bid for Gonzalo Higuain.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster Radio CRC, the Frenchman's agent, Mickael Manuello, said: "If he was asked to leave, then we would evaluate our options.

"There is no fear in Olivier possibly going to Napoli, it is a magnificent city. In Campania, my client could live a wonderful life, not to mention that the type of game orchestrated by Napoli coach Sarri could enhance the quality of a centre-forward like him."

Regarding Higuain, Wenger has reportedly called a meeting with Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis and sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli, who will fly to London to meet with Arsenal officials.

And finally, the estimated £135 million windfall from the sales of Paul Pogba and Leonardo Bonucci could be used by Juventus to make an audacious offer for Alexis Sanchez, claims Gazzetta dello Sport.

Juve continue to chase Sanchez, with a fresh bid expected after an offer rumoured to be in the region of £34 million was turned down last week.
