Arsenal transfer rumours: Wenger to swoop for Swansea duo and make improved offer for Lacazette

Arsenal are preparing a double swoop for Swansea City defensive pair Ashley Williams and Federico Fernandez.
The Daily Express suggest that Arsene Wenger may look to Ashley Williams to fill the void left by Per Mertesacker, not just for his defensive capabilities, but for his leadership qualities too.
Everton are also said to be interested in him.
Meanwhile, The Sun claim that they could get Fernandez for as little as £10 million - which, in the current transfer climate - is an absolute bargain.
Elsewhere, Wenger will make an improved bid for Alexandre Lacazette this week as they aim to secure the signing of an established centre forward before the season begins against Liverpool on August 14.
Lyon revealed they had rejected a bid of £31.8million last week, and as a result, are lining up a bid in the region of £34m - Lacazette's minimum release clause.
Wenger said: "We have not closed any deal with anybody at the moment.
"I can understand you want answers but I am not ready to come out on any names. We have Gabriel and Mertesacker out and Koscielny still on holiday. So we have a look at everybody and one of the three young defenders might play from the start of the season. They will at least be in the squad.
"At the moment, I will have a look at everybody and then make my final decision but it is true that (Rob) Holding has adapted very well and quickly (after arriving from Bolton). All three have top quality and all three miss a little bit of experience. We have to make a decision in two weeks."
