There has been a horrendously unsympathetic reaction to Stephen Ireland's leg break

Stoke have announced that Stephen Ireland broke his leg during a training session this morning and there is not a lot of sympathy on Twitter.
The playmaker, who has only made 16 appearances for the Potters this season, is facing months of rehabilitation on the sidelines.
The club said in a statement: "Stoke can confirm Stephen Ireland is facing an extended spell on the sidelines after suffering a broken leg in training this morning.
"All at the club wish Stephen a speedy recovery and will offer him all the support he requires as he undergoes his rehabilitation."
Some Twitter users have opted to make fun of the man capped six times with Ireland rather than show any kind of sympathy for his predicament.
