Stoke v Everton - story of the match
A Ryan Shawcross own-goal earned Everton a 1-1 draw at Stoke after Peter Crouch scored for the 100th time in the Premier League.
Crouch's landmark moment came in the seventh minute when the veteran striker tucked home a close-range finish from Marko Arnautovic's tee-up.
Stoke had chances to add to their lead before the visitors drew level six minutes prior to half-time as the ball was struck goalwards by Seamus Coleman and went in off Shawcross.
TWEET OF THE MATCH
"Welcome to a very special club, @petercrouch!" - The Premier League (@premierleague), via its official Twitter account, salutes Crouch's century.
Crouch. After notching his milestone goal early on, the experienced frontman, who turned 36 on Monday, continued to cause problems for Everton's defence. Stoke's new signing Saido Berahino, who came on a substitute for his debut, could challenge Crouch for a starting berth, but the experienced striker - with four goals in his last five league games - may not be shifted so easily.
MOMENT OF THE MATCH
Crouch's goal - including the celebration that followed. As expected, he pulled out the old 'robot' routine we have seen so many times before, and the crowd loved it.
Crouch's landmark strike saw him become the 26th player to reach 100 Premier League goals.
