Stephanie Roche is no one-hit wonder and here is the proof!

The Puskas Goal of the Year runner up smacked home another left-foot volley from all of 25 yards into the top corner during yesterday's 2-1 win over Costa Rica in the Istria Cup in Croatia.

Sue Ronan's Ireland team bowed out of the competition following defeats to Austria and Slovakia but ended the tournament on a high with Roche's cracker and a Megan Campbell effort.

"Ah ye, I would love to do it (get nominated for the Puskas award) all again," Stephanie told Independent.ie.

"Seriously though, I am just glad to show that I am capable of scoring goals like that and that the strike that got me to the Ballon D'Or was not a one off.

"It was just one of them, as soon as the ball came to me I put my foot though it and I knew it was going in as soon as I hit it. A few of the girls have been slagging me, asking if they can come to the next ceremony!"
