Sheridan...

TODAY'S IRISH TEAM: Obviously, I watch who they're playing and want them to do well. They've got a good team and the manager is a top, top manager.

I think they've got some very good players, and I believe there's a lot of players who want to go and play for Ireland these days, so that's a plus.

I always look out for them, but I haven't been back too much since I stopped playing.

GOING INTO MANAGEMENT

I wouldn't say it was on my mind when I was playing. A lot of people probably thought that I wouldn't. But I always wanted to stay in the game. I didn't think about it until the later stages of my career.

Fortunately, I got an opportunity at Oldham and luckily for me, I'm still managing. I'm involved, and I'm enjoying it.

LEAGUE 2 STEREOTYPE

I think it's unfair to think it's all long ball in the division, it's a bit of a myth now. There's a lot of good footballing sides in there. It has changed over the years.

Most teams in the division do try and play. I think people who've watched us and other teams in the division will be surprised by how we've played, and how we try and pass the ball.
