Serb duo set for Anfield
Liverpool are the favourites to sign the Serbian winger Milos Krasic at the end of the season along with his international team-mate Milan Jovanovic, who has already agreed to join the club on a free transfer at the end of the season.
Krasic (25) has one year left on his contract with CSKA Moscow and has attracted interest from a number of Premier League clubs. He is rated at £10m and has said he will not be signing a new contract with the Russian club.
Liverpool have made enquiries about a deal this month although reports in Serbia yesterday that Krasic has signed a pre-agreement to join them do not tally with Fifa rules governing transfers. Liverpool believe they have the upper hand on signing Krasic because of his close friendship with Jovanovic.
Jovanovic (28) whose contract with Standard Liege runs outs in the summer, also lived with Krasic when he played for Lokomotiv Moscow earlier in his career.
