UCD took less than a minute to grab the lead when Graham Rusk finished off Chris Mulhall's fine through ball. Paul O'Connor should have made it two on 40 minutes but his namesake Chris did well to turn away the point-blank effort. With 20 minutes remaining, Bohemians struck the equaliser with Paddy Madden dispatching Aaron Greene's cross with a clinical strike.

It was to be UCD's night, however, and Rusk bagged his second three minutes into stoppage- time after a neat lay-off from Keith Ward.

UCD -- Barron, Matthews (Leahy 12), Kelly (Fallon 80), Boyle, Nangle; Mulhall, O'Connor, Roche, Moore (McMillan 80); Ward, Rusk.

Bohemians -- O'Connor , O'Reilly, Lopez, Feely, Corcoran; Chambers, Keely, Traynor (Forrester 82), Greene; Madden, Lodolo (Dixon 58).
