Rovers draw mighty Spurs in money-spinning clashes

Shamrock Rovers – fresh from their glorious win in Belgrade last night - drew mighty Spurs in the Europa League today, in what is a money-spinning draw for the Tallaght club.

Already guaranteed €1m in prize-money, TV rights from the clashes with the North Londoners should fill the club’s modest coffers even further.



It has already been suggested that the home game against Spurs might be played at the Aviva Stadiium.



The Hoops will also have crack side Rubin Kazan, who play in the Russian Premier League, and the Greek side Paok to contend with.
