Rosenborg player gets a mouth full

GHANA midfielder Anthony Annan is at the centre of a huge storm in Norway after he was accused of biting an opponent during a league game.

Annan was lining out for Rosenborg against Aalesund last Monday and became involved in a scuffle with Aalesund FK's Tor Hogne Aaroy, who later claimed that Anna had bit him in the chest.

But it was the quote from Aalesund boss Kjetil which really caught our attention.

"He pulled at one of our players' undercarriage and he bit others. This sounds like the kind of treatment players get from female shop assistants in nightclubs at the weekend than from opposing players on a match-day," he said.

Annan himself denied the biting allegations and claimed that his opponent's shirt had simply lodged in his mouth.
