Robbie Keane: I love everything about LA
Robbie Keane spoke to Kelli Tennant about life in LA, Irish traditions and how he would like his son Robert to follow in his footsteps as a footballer.
The Irish international striker missed the midweek friendly against Serbia, but if the interview with WP24 reporter Tennant is anything to go by, he is clearly loving his life Stateside.
The Dubliner spoke about a number of different topics and stated that he couldn’t be happier than he is in Los Angeles.
“It’s not a bad place to live,” he said with a smile.
“I like everything about LA, the people, the restaurants,” he said before adding that the fact he is so close to Disneyland and Universal Studios was a real positive.
The only drawback he suggested was the distance from his home, family and friends.
“I thought London was a long way from Dublin,” he joked.
Keane, who this week signed a contract extension with the Galaxy, added that his wife would most likely describe him as grumpy and hoped that his son Robert would either become a footballer or a musician.
