Question nobody asked - Which player has scored in most games?
Wayne Rooney has streaked ahead in the Premier League top-scorers race -- although Alex Ferguson's apparent unwillingness to trust his other strikers has certainly helped his cause.
Rooney has started 24 of United's 25 league games, scoring 21 goals and finding the net in 15 separate games to maintain United's title push.
Didier Drogba is now second to Rooney having scored in 13 games so far including yesterday's brace against Arsenal. Drogba's breakdown of four two-goal games and nine single-goal games gives him a total of 17, three more than Darren Bent with the Sunderland striker having found the net in 12 games.
Strangely, for two strikers having excellent seasons, Jermain Defoe and Carlos Tevez have scored in fewer than half of the games they have started in.
The five goals the Spurs striker scored in the second half against Wigan has got him up to 15, yet he has only scored in nine of the 19 games he has started.
It's a similar story for Tevez who has only scored in seven separate games for City despite starting 18 times; however, one hat-trick and three two-goal games have helped him to 12 goals to lie in joint fifth alongside Fernando Torres.
